# Daoism

Daoism draws on the Dao De Jing, attributed to Laozi, and the Zhuangzi, which speak of following the way of the world. It grew into a tradition with temples, priests, meditation and ritual, and it shaped Chinese life with Buddhism and Confucian thought.
