The asymmetry between doubt and certainty in a system
A broken system can be certain of itself for free, while a healthy one can only trust. So from inside, total certainty is what a broken mind would feel, and a bit of doubt is what a sound one would carry. That would make humility a structural feature, and a virtue only second.
